A clear connection exists from the end
of Butler to the train tracks. This path can be extended to
connect to the greenway.
|
The site is bisected by a railroad spur
which leads to the Chattahoochee Brick Company.
|
. |
The river can be reached most
easily by crossing the railroad
spur to the Chattahoochee
Brick Company. A road
leads
directly down to the river.
|
The tower is the major site icon.
The remains of the carpenter's shop mark
the entry to the site at the corner of
Spad
and Wales Streets. |
|
Residents are concerned about safety and
dumping on the site. They dug a trench along Spad Street to
prevent cars from driving into the site in an effort to minimize the prostitution
that occurs in the area.
|
Truck traffic along Parrott Street is
an issue for residents. The problem is due mostly to a lack of enforcement
of current restrictions on truck traffic.
