FESTIVAL OPPORTUNITIES

The plaza area is designed to accommodate a wide range of social activities and gatherings. The space is large enough to hold portable booths or tents for the display and selling of arts and crafts and the area can accommodate a large number of pedestrians either milling about or sitting and observing the celebrations. An annual fair or festival could provide the Hartsfield Incinerator with a recognizable identity for all of Atlanta.
 

OPTIONS FOR WATER & PAVING

The plaza area has a specific location designed for a large water feature as its focal point. The feature could be sculptural and or interactive. The paving choice is unlimited and should provide a richness of detail and a mixture of textures and patterns.
